Jenny Lester discovered her passion for education in 10th grade, inspired by a teacher who showed her what true dedication looks like. She began her career as a middle school Math and Science teacher before moving into early childhood, where she felt called to make an impact even earlier in a child’s development. With a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education, Jenny brings a strong foundation in child development and curriculum to her role.
At Red Balloon, Jenny is committed to creating a warm, welcoming environment where children feel loved, safe, and excited to learn. She values strong family partnerships and leads her team through collaboration, open communication, and daily encouragement. One of her proudest accomplishments has been helping transform Red Balloon from a traditional daycare into a true preschool environment focused on meaningful learning and exploration.
Jenny’s favorite part of each day is connecting with children during play and seeing how uniquely each child interprets the world. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, attending sporting events, golfing, and being with her family. She remains dedicated to ensuring Red Balloon continues to grow as a nurturing, high-quality early learning community where every child can thrive.
